Cotton Candy Colored Sunset on February 11th, 2023

There are few things that can match the beauty of a sunset. From the golden rays of light to the way that it changes the colors of everything around you, there’s something about sunsets that can make even the most mundane things feel special and important. We’ve found that sometimes, capturing a sunset with a drone can be one of the best ways to do this. The viewer can see a different perspective on the same scene that they would have seen in person, and it lets them appreciate what they’re seeing from a different angle. Of course we can create views that we regularly can’t see from the ground either with varying heights. Like in this photo set that has shots from many different altitudes.

A great sunset is one that has lots of color, and we were lucky enough to capture some really beautiful scenes in Cleveland on February 11th 2023. We took this photo set at Veterans Memorial Park in Parma, Ohio. The photos show off how much variety there can be in a single sunset—even if you’re watching it in real time, it’s hard to notice all of these minute differences in color and texture. One of the best ways to describe the sky that night was “cotton candy”. Using a 6k sensor on a drone with a gimbal allowed us to get the right vantage point and capture all the different hues going across the horizon at once. We love sharing these photos with people because it’s an opportunity for people who weren’t there to see what we did. It’s also a great reminder for those who were there, so they can relive their experience through our photos! What do you think? Feel free to comment below and stay tuned for out next adventure!
