All Star Monster Truck Tour at Lake Erie Speedway
When it comes to high-octane entertainment, few events can match the sheer excitement and adrenaline rush of a monster truck show. Recently, we had the incredible opportunity to witness the All-Star Monster Truck Tour at Lake Erie Speedway, and let me tell you, it was an unforgettable experience. There is nothing like the thrilling journey chasing the monstrous machines with a FPV drone. From the heart-pounding stunts, and the electrifying atmosphere that engulfed the air at Lake Erie Speedway there was not a moment that was adrenaline pumping.
We chose to mostly use 5″ and 7″ custom built FPV drones using GoPro Hero 11’s to chase the trucks and ATVs through the air. It was a epic challenge that really created some unforgettable footage. Lake Erie Speedway is like a second home to us on weekends, as we often find ourselves there filming the many incredible events the venue puts on throughout the year.
As we entered the gates of Lake Erie Speedway, we were greeted by a thunderous roar that could only come from the monstrous engines of the legendary monster trucks. These mechanical giants, with their mammoth tires and towering bodies, awaited their turn to showcase their might. The lineup featured a star-studded cast of renowned trucks. The anticipation among the crowd was palpable, as we eagerly awaited the moment when these behemoths would take center stage and we could take the air to chase them.

The event featured a series of thrilling competitions that pitted these mechanical beasts against each other in various nail-biting challenges. From freestyle competitions, where drivers unleashed their creativity and pushed the limits of what their trucks could do, to head-to-head races that left us breathless, the rivalry among the drivers added an extra layer of excitement to an already electrifying atmosphere. The crowd was on the edge of their seats, rooting for their favorite trucks and eagerly awaiting the next heart-stopping moment.
